I am a 46 year old father of 3, been married for 19 years. I was laid off about a month ago, I hauled parts for Chrysler, We were not prepared for this. We had already struggled all year because of the lack of consistent work. We have now lost 1 of our cars ( it was probably better because it saved us some money) I have applied at a minimum of 250 jobs. I had a great interview last week and might get the job, either way, we don't have enough money for utilities for Dec.. My kids are great, they don't care about Christmas, they understand. I just want to support my family!!!! I feel like a failure, we have sold everything that was of value (utility trailer, snow blower etc...) The picture is from vacation a few years ago. Thats my crazy son driving the tractor and my wife, daughter, son and sons friend and me. I wish I could go back to those times!!! I feel and pray for all of you that are hurting.
